This is a sliding drill to improve lower body making the turn. It’s similar to a ‘windshield’ wiper on a car going back and forth.
- Blue Run
- Go Straight to start
- Plant pole and turn both parallel skis until they are perpendicular to the slope
- Continue sliding while skis are perpendicular to the slope
- Relax and allow both feet to direct down the fall line again
- Repeat Steps 3-4-5 to show a continuous “back and forth” descent in the fall line.
MEASURE:
If you’re able rhythmically turn both skis back and forth and not rotate your upper body while descending / sliding down the fall-line
